Do I need a design before I can get an installation quote? Yes. We only offer installation quotes after your design is complete. This ensures your estimate is accurate, avoids change orders, and gives contractors the exact information they need to price the build correctly.
Why do I need a design first? Answer: A professional design gives you clarity, accuracy, and confidence. It helps: • Prevent costly mistakes • Ensure smooth HOA approvals • Provide accurate contractor bids • Create a layout that fits your property and lifestyle • Deliver a cohesive long-term plan for phased installations Contractors rely on our designs to build correctly.
How much do your design packages cost? Answer: • Tier 1 – Concept Design: $950 • Tier 2 – Full 2D/3D Build-Ready Design: $2,450 • Tier 3 – Premium Master Plan + Oversight: $4,750 Installation pricing is quoted separately after design completion.
Can your designs be used in phases or years later? Answer: Yes. Our designs are created for phased construction. You can build now or gradually over time. Everything will still fit perfectly because the master plan guides future additions.
Do you offer installation services? Answer: Yes. After design completion, we can provide an installation proposal for many landscape and hardscape features, including pavers, planting, lighting, and more.
Do you provide construction oversight? Answer: Yes — included with Tier 3. We offer 2–3 site visits for general observation to help ensure the design intent is followed. This is not supervision or project management.
What payment methods do you accept? Answer: Credit/debit cards, bank transfer, checks, and online invoice payments.
Do I own the design after it’s completed? Answer: Yes — once paid in full, you own the right to use the design for your property. The design may not be reused or resold without permission.
Can I hire Town Haul Designs for design-only? Absolutely. Many clients hire us strictly for design. Your plan set is build-ready and can be used by any licensed installer.
What software do you use? Answer: We design in VizTerra, a leading 3D landscape design platform that creates realistic visuals and accurate construction-ready layouts.
How long does the design process take? Answer: Design timelines: • Tier 1: 7–10 business days • Tier 2: 14–21 business days • Tier 3: 21–30 business days These are maximum windows. We often complete designs faster, but you can rely on receiving your design within the timeframe listed for your tier.
Can you design a pool? Answer: Yes — we design pools for visual and planning purposes in both 2D and 3D. We are not a licensed pool contractor, so we don’t engineer or permit pools, but our design shows placement, style, circulation, and flow. Your future pool contractor can use our plan now, a year from now, or even ten years from now.
Am I required to use Town Haul Designs for installation? Answer: No. You may use any licensed contractor. Your design package works with any installer.
